A stylish, trend-setting design makes the Fiido Titan e-bike a head-turner even from a distance. The characteristic that stands out, however, is the long-range capability of this fat-tire electric bike. The high load capacity of up to 150 kg is the biggest trump card, allowing the rider to carry extra load and baggage from point A to B.

Fiido is a well-known brand in the international e-biking market. There’s a reputation that the product designers and engineers need to live up to, and with the Titan, they have indeed done a commendable job. This electric bike has been manufactured for people who wish to travel sustainably with substantial cargo.

The impressive design, robust construction, and most of all, the four-piston hydraulic brakes ensure effective braking and stopping, addressing the safety aspects of the rider. A one-wheel integrated design and one rear-mounted dual-battery rack add to the convenience of long and adventurous riders.

Design and Build Quality

The Titan is a fat-tire cargo e-bike with a practical design. It looks stylish, and the unique digital innovation adds glamour to the model. Performance and Ride Experience

Motor power and responsiveness

The Titan is fitted with a 750W rear hub brushless toothed motor. In the EU, Titan is meant for use for off-road purposes only. The auxiliary setting is an adjustable three-mode/ five-mode.

Battery Capacity and Range

Fiido Titan is fitted with a 696Wh battery that offers a comfortable range of up to 130 km or 81 miles per full charge in the power-assist mode. There’s the unique rear-mounted dual-battery rack for two additional batteries for riders who need to go long distances. The combination of the three batteries helps riders ride up to 400 km or 248.6 miles comfortably with no stress.

Speed/Acceleration Capabilities

The Titan comes with a nine-speed derailleur. Riders can ride the Titan at a top speed of up to 45 km/h or 28mph. The Titan has a  nine-speed gearbox and hydraulic shock absorbers that assist riders in covering any distance or terrain with heightened confidence.

Handling and Maneuverability

The integrated wheels, robust frame, and four-piston hydraulic brakes with larger pads and disks enable the rider to stop comfortably and safely. The torque sensor offers precision power assistance to the rider on all kinds of terrains, working closely with Fiido’s intuitive algorithm for e-cargo bikes.

Comfort and Ergonomics

The 60mm travel hydraulic shock absorbers have a lockable pressure stage, offering steady rides on nature trails and every terrain.  A Velo Saddle is an in-house structural innovation tailored to offer enhanced comfort.

Pedal Assist Modes

The Titan can be operated in three modes – paddle, throttle, and power-assisted. There are 5 PAS or Power Assist Levels. The rider gets minimal to maximum support and power boost while pedaling on any terrain.

Technology and Features

Display Panel and User Interface

In the middle of the handlebar of the Titan is the IPS center console. The proprietary technology used has been developed in-house by Fiido. The IPS screen is made from an IP67 material, meaning it is waterproof, and extreme weather conditions cannot deter riders from going the extra mile.

All riding parameters are right there on the screen to facilitate easy and smooth rides every time. The display has a backlight button, assisting rides during the rainy and night seasons.

Connectivity Options (e.g., smartphone apps, Bluetooth)

The Fiido App can be used to unlock the battery and the electric bike. Alternatively, bikers can use the passcode to carry out the same operations.

Integrated Sensors/ Smart Features

  1. The torque sensor operates via the cargo e-bike algorithm.
  2. The handlebar has buttons that let riders access many function settings directly from the handlebar.

Lighting systems (e.g., front and rear lights, turn signals)

The Titan has multi-functional handlebar switches to operate the backlights. The display, too, has buttons for backlights. Both the set of user-friendly buttons help change light settings during night rides.

Safety Features

One of the biggest pros of the Titan from Fiido is the UL 2849 compliance certification. UL 2849 is an international standard for e-bikes ensuring fire safety of the electrical system. This includes the battery system, charger, and the drivetrain.

Besides, the unique one-piece wheel design reduces the breakage of spokes, which, in turn, reduces frequent maintenance breaks. The 4-piston hydraulic brake system offers a smooth braking option to riders.

Besides, the Titan has a bell like a traditional bicycle.

Additional Accessories/Add-ons

A Titan Battery Rack enables riders to carry two extra batteries, making long rides seamless. The three batteries provide a total of 400 km Range. The add-on batteries and the rack are available separately for buyers.

This is a cargo electric bike. Hence, it has a rear rack carrying up to 80 kg extra load. The e-bike also has a fender that helps keep the e-bike clean from debris and mud.
