In the year 1909, Domingo Cosme, and Juan Beistegui, three brothers residing in the town of Eibar in Spain, started their industrial journey with weapons manufacturing. By 1923 when World War I ended, they rolled out their bicycling operations from their family workshop.

The earliest models not just facilitated Eibar residents to move affordably, but they became popular soon for their agility, lightweight structure, and reliability.

Thus BH or Beistegui Hermanos came into existence, an iconic cycling brand and one of the oldest in the sector.

When BH shifted to a more technologically advanced and state-of-the-art plant in Vitoria in 1959, it expanded its production cycle and product line. This facility saw the development of its all-terrain, road, mountain, fitness, and electric bikes.

As of the present day, BH has another manufacturing and assembly unit at Agueda in Portugal. Both facilities are equipped with CNC laser machines and are state-of-the-art units making a range of products, including parts for Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

BH e-bikes are built excellently, thanks to the company’s long history of designing and manufacturing bicycles. As a result, it was one of the first companies to start the e-bike revolution, especially in the niche of compact electric bikes with integrated batteries.

It has a cleaner and sharper geometric design with increased torsional stiffness. The weight of the frame and the tie rod are a minimum and made using high-end technology. In addition, the Split Pivot increases pedaling efficiency and braking.

The XPro bottle holder acts as the battery connector. The 250 W motor is extremely quiet and powerful, producing 65Nm torque. It also has a fast intervention tool so that users are not delayed in case of any trouble on the road.

Hybrid Model Line

There are four different categories of the BH Hybrid model – ATOMX, ATOMS, ATOM, and CORE URBAN.

AtomX

AtomX has an attractive design with an interesting battery integration system. It is a full carbon eMTB. It has an asymmetric seat tube and a split-pivot rear. The battery has a power output of 720 Wh, while the Brose Drive S Mag motor has a torque of 90 Nm.

The cover must be unlocked to charge the battery in the e-bike, or you can take it out to charge indoors. Once the cover opens, the battery can be pulled up and out of the down tube.

The Display offers easy access to all necessary details about your ride. It is safely harnessed in position and can customize the support modes per the user’s preferences.

The 540 Wh battery comes with a range of up to 165 km (100 miles). An extra XPro battery boosts the power to 720 Wh, increasing the range to 220 km (135 miles).
