Bakcou Mule is equipped with a 48V 17.5Ah battery (standard configuration), with the option of 19.2Ah, 21Ah, and 25Ah Lithium-ion batteries. Moreover, the intelligent motor and the intuitive torque sensor form a winning combo, pushing the e-bike to its limit and even the rider!

Frey Hunter is equipped with 48V 21Ah Samsung 3500 mA batteries in its standard configuration, which is a comparable option to the Bakcou Mule.

So whether hunting is a passion or you wish to indulge it as a beginner, both Hunter and Mule are incredible choices for your transportation in the wild, thanks to their super-powerful motors and long-range batteries.

The winner in this category: Both models are great.

As expected from credible brands, both Frey and Bakcou make the frames of their hunting e-bikes from the reliable 6061 Aluminum alloy. This keeps the weight of the e-bikes under manageable parameters and can resist corrosion.

The last bit is the most helpful point for off-road bikers because you never really know what extreme conditions await you on the road.

The frame size of the Mule is 18″ with a standover height of 29.5″. The Hunter has a frame size of 26″, which differs considerably from the Mule.

The winner in this category: On this count, the Frey Hunter definitely wins.

As the e-bike geometries become complex, the LCD Display is one common denominator that all riders lookout for in their preferred e-bike models. Frey and Bakcou do not disappoint in this context.

Both the modes, Hunter and Mule, have LCD Displays to keep the rider well-informed about their performance on the road. In the case of Mule, the display is Bafang DP C18 Full color. The display for Hunter is also the same.

The winner in this category: Both models are great.
